Is ATOM approved by the governing legal industry regulator in my state or territory?

Yes, ATOM is certified under the Uniform General Rules (2015) in all states and territories.

Is ATOM a cloud-based program?

Yes, ATOM is an online program, which means as it can be accessed from any device with internet access.

Can staff access be limited to ensure critical financial information is kept private?

Yes, access for each login can be customised to suit the job description.

Is training and support readily available?

Online training and support is included in the cost of the subscription. We strongly recommend initial training to ensure you get maximum benefit from all of ATOM’s features.

Can my accountant access my financial records?

Yes, we will provide additional login access for your accountant and auditor at no extra cost. 

Where is our data stored?

Our servers and backups are stored in Australia.

Can I use ATOM on a Mac?

Yes, ATOM is an online program, so providing you have internet access you can use ATOM on any device. We recommend Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox.

Can I get access to a demonstration of ATOM?

Yes, you can contact us at atomsupport@dyedurham.com or call us on 1300 997 207 and we will set you up with access to our demonstration site. 

Are there locked in contracts?

No, ATOM is a monthly subscription or $50.00 per month for a single user, plus $25.00 per month for each additional user. A 10% discount is given for annual subscriptions. 

Payroll subscription is $4.50 per employee, per month.

Can I import data from a current program?

We will assist migration from your current program to ATOM. Please note the historic data will not be imported so it is important that you retain separate records of past transactions.

What we do import into ATOM is client contact details, matter details, opening trust balances for each matter, opening debtor balance for each matter, unbilled WIP, disbursements and sundries. 

Please note that this will be an individual assessment of your current situation and we will always endeavour to ensure the best outcome in regards to timing and cost. 

Can I use ATOM on my mobile phone?

Yes you can. Our cloud based version of ATOM can be used on any mobile device (IOS & Android).

If I cancel my subscription will I still have access to my data?

Your ATOM account will be switched to view only and remain accessible after you cancel your subscription; however you will not be able to continue to add more data. You will be able to export all client details, matter balances, ledgers and general ledger transactions to a csv file or pdf.

How much does ATOM cost?

For a monthly subscription ATOM will charge:

Initial User - $50.00 per month (ex GST)

Each Additional User - $25.00 per month (ex GST)

Payroll - $4.50 per employee, per month (ex GST)

Can I still use ATOM if I don’t have internet connection?

No, ATOM is an online program, which means you will always need to to have access to the internet.

Does ATOM provide general ledger accounting for my business?

Yes, ATOM is a first and foremost a fully integrated accounting solution for the legal industry. It provides accounting functions for your matters with trust accounting, disbursement, sundry and professional fee recording, invoice generation and receipting; plus general business expense recording. This fully integrated accounting functionality enables you to produce the required financial reports for taxation and business activity statements.  

Is ATOM’s payroll STP compliant.

Yes, ATOM’s payroll links directly with the ATO for payroll reporting, links to an approved superannuation clearing house, has employee portal access for leave requests and .aba file export for linking to your bank account.
